IT and business consulting services firm CGI has announced the successful implementation of CGI’s Momentum Enterprise Solution at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The implementation is the first wave of VA’s Financial Management Business Transformation, or FMBT, program that will refresh financial management and acquisitions throughout the department.

“CGI is honored to be part of the FMBT program that transforms the way VA responds to veterans’ needs through an accessible and transparent management system that drives efficiency and timely decision making,” said CGI Senior Vice-President Stephanie Mango. “This, in turn, improves quality of care and service to our veterans and their families.”

VA reached this accomplishment through its leadership and a dedicated program team working in partnership with CGI, who worked as the lead integrator leveraging its federal business process and organizational change management expertise.

CGI’s Momentum supports the full federal financial, budget, asset and procurement management lifecycles. The FMBT program provides a modern, integrated solution with transformative business processes and capabilities that enables VA to meet its goals and objectives in compliance with legislation and directives.
