Editor’s note: The virtual Chief Officer Awards have been moved to May 27.

We want to highlight and honor the top chief information security officers — and we need your help to do so!

Held May 27 as a virtual event, the Chief Officer Awards will recognize the most impactful and innovative C-suite executives in government and industry. The goal is to showcase the technologists, security experts and business leaders making waves in government contracting from both sides of the sector.

For the CISO award, we are seeking those responsible for actively and efficiently putting the right tools, strategies and enterprise vision in place to secure and protect organizational information and technologies. These CISOs are in charge of identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes enterprisewide to safeguard data assets and minimize cyber risk, and they take an active role in understanding the evolving threat landscape.

This category focuses on CISOs responsible for aligning technology-related decisions with organizational goals, ensuring open, digital and data-driven capabilities and policies where necessary.

Achievements between 2020 and 2021 will be considered.

An executive and/or agency can submit nominations for more than one category, and self-nominations are accepted. Nominations should be max 350 words and include how the CISO solved a challenge(s) for the end customer.

    The submission deadline March 26.

For more information and to nominate, visit ChiefAwards.com.
