An accomplished chief technology officer, chief information officer and chief information security officer for small and large firms, Ankur Rawat leverages his expertise to lead Siemens Government Technologies’ enterprise strategy. He closely partners with the entire executive team in the planning and prioritization of all technology investments, ensuring the effective, efficient and secure operation of systems and tools across the organization. With a focus on growing revenue and developing new business, Rawat leverages the full gamut of Siemens’ offerings to help government customers solve some of their most complex challenges.

“Siemens has a wide aperture of tools and solutions,” Rawat said. “We’re able to transform and modernize infrastructure through smart and secure [Internet of Things] cloud-based solutions, while simultaneously aiding our customers with rapid prototyping and fielding through an open digital twin and digital thread to support model-based requirements. The possibilities to create innovative solutions for our customers are endless.”

SGT is a leading integrator of Siemens’ innovative products, technologies, software and services to address U.S. government customer imperatives in the areas of energy generation and resiliency, smart infrastructure modernization, and software-driven optimization of maintenance, sustainment and production activities across government and its supplier base. The organization helps advance mission critical programs for the federal government to manage operational demands with greater efficiency than ever before.
