Amanda Christian, CACI International

Amanda Christian

Senior Vice President of Subcontracts and Procurement, CACI International

For over 10 years, Amanda Christian has led the subcontracts and procurement functions for CACI. She rose to senior vice president in 2018, and her deep understanding of the importance of the contracting function helped enable the company’s pivot in the face of multiple outside factors in 2020.

For example, CACI’s agile supply chain and talented procurement and subcontract management team quickly adjusted to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on CACI’s customers.

Christian was an integral part of a task force that met daily to help employees obtain health information, procure personal protective equipment and stay informed of the CARES Act and contractual guidance. In addition to the immediate and ongoing response to the pandemic, Christian and her team support CACI’s merger and acquisition strategy, which recently integrated Ascent Vision Technologies into its existing portfolio of business systems.

Why Watch

Continuing to position CACI as a top national security company now and in the future remains one of Christian’s strategic imperatives. To do so, she will continue to focus on supporting customers, maintaining a secure supply chain and upholding the highest cybersecurity standards. Her ascendance to the role of president of the National Contract Management Association in July of 2021 is testament to the respect and confidence peers have in her abilities.
