In an effort to bolster Swish Data Corp.’s areas of expertise and technology capability offerings, the company has purchased professional services firm Titania Solutions Group, Inc.
The acquisition is part of Swish’s ongoing 5-year growth and expansion strategy. Considering Titania serves federal entities such as the U.S. Army, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Defense Information Systems Agency, the move expands Swish’s place in DevSecOps services, intelligence training and operations, and drone and counterdrone activities for the public sector.
The transaction also adds technology capabilities, contract vehicles and valuable customer relationships to Swish’s portfolio and government contractor business.
“This acquisition further diversifies Swish’s market reach and capabilities, with a company that has a proven track record of success and superior performance,” said Swish CEO Monty Deel.
Titania, which has over 100 employees, will operate as an independent business subsidiary of Swish, with its previous Chief Operating Officer John Hibbert serving as general manager.
“It’s an honor to be joining forces with Swish,” he said. “The combined team has substantially greater capabilities than either company has alone and will result in a compelling value proposition for our employees, customers, and partners. This is an exciting time for Titania.”
This deal follows Swish’s acquisition of MAD Security LLC in 2019, augmenting the company’s organic growth throughout 2020.
“This is another in a long line of transactions in 2020 that signify the strategic importance of high-end capabilities and mission-critical customer relationships,” according to Kevin DeSanto, managing director of KippsDeSanto & Co. “We expect growth-oriented companies to continue to focus on acquisitions that deliver in-demand capabilities like DevSecOps and customers like HHS.”
