Professional services and solutions provider Caliburn International has tapped Beth Jannery as senior vice president of marketing and communications.

Jannery will serve as a member of the executive leadership team overseeing the firm’s communications and branding strategy and the integration and implementation of a broad range of public relations and marketing activities.

Jannery joins Caliburn International “during a dynamic time in the firm’s growth and ongoing global transformation as a trusted leader in the government and commercial sectors,” said CEO Jim Van Dusen.

“Beth’s strategic leadership in shaping a communications vision for how we impact the lives of our stakeholders – including our clients, team members and the global community that we serve – is a critical component of our executive leadership team,” he added.

Jannery brings more than 25 years of corporate and reporting experience to her new role. She served previously as bureau chief for Raytheon Co. prior to the global defense merger with United Technologies. During the merger, she worked on content migration, communication and branding initiatives that included consolidation and restructuring activities.

After the merger, Jannery served on the Global Strategic Marketing & Communications team for Raytheon Missiles & Defense, one of four businesses for Raytheon Technologies. She also served as the director of journalism for George Mason University’s Department of Communications.
