Armed Forces Services Corp. is now officially Magellan Federal.

In a move to communicate value and differentiation as well as to showcase its full breadth of capabilities, the Magellan Health, Inc. subsidiary has announced a rebrand. Since AFSC’s 2016 acquisition of Magellan Healthcare, Inc., both organizations have increased their capabilities and experience.

Over the past four years, the combined federal contract teams under Magellan Healthcare have operated under the unit identified as Magellan Federal. Magellan Federal has more than 3,000 employees across 250 bases, installations and agencies around the world.

As the organizations move to Magellan Federal and leave behind the AFSC brand, “we will continue to put individuals and their families at the center of our services, and deliver quality solutions with compassion, respect and dignity,” said Oscar Montes, CEO of Magellan Federal.

“In solidifying our identity as Magellan Federal, we remain a strong partner to our military and Federal customers, bringing next-generation, innovative solutions to the table,” he added.
