Salesforce has unveiled Work.com for Vaccines, a program that serves as an extension of Work.com, which helps companies manage workplace safety.
Work.com for Vaccines will give organizations the capabilities to design, integrate and manage their vaccine programs safely and efficiently on a company-wide scale.
The new program includes a wide variety of capabilities including a public health command center, vaccine inventory management, vaccine appointment scheduling, clinical vaccine administration, vaccine outcome monitoring and public health notifications.
These capabilities will ensure companies have access to comprehensive data, available equipment, digital scheduling, trained medical professionals and education and outreach campaigns focused on vaccinations.
As a COVID-19 vaccine gets closer, the world is looking at one of the largest mass vaccination campaigns in history, according to Salesforce. The company says Work.com for Vaccines will help organizations efficiently manage this process.
Technology will play a key role in assisting governments and health care entities distribute what promises to be billions of doses of vaccines globally, said Bret Taylor, Salesforce president and chief operating officer.
