The sweeping shift to telework also created new cyber vulnerabilities Cloudera helped customers address, employing vast enterprise data to build baselines supporting real-time analytics and anomaly detection.

Data science and streaming will further accelerate these innovations, which Cloudera will next expand to private cloud. Building on its tradition of on-prem, public cloud and hosted infrastructures, the company is partnering with Red Hat and IBM on a containerized data platform, seamlessly connecting powerful workloads and enterprise open-source capabilities in a private cloud environment.
“This is going to provide tremendous synergy and standardization in architecture, but also speed to value, empowering our joint customers invested in enterprise open-source capabilities,” Bierweiler said.
