Liz PorterLeidos recently appointed Elizabeth “Liz” Porter to Health Group president, a position in which she will report to Chairman and CEO Roger Krone.

The Health Group is a $2 billion, 7,500-person business, and Porter will direct all its activities, including new business growth, technology development and thought leadership.

Porter began serving as acting group president in early March. Prior to that, she was an operation manager for the Civil Group’s Federal Energy & Environment business. S

Through her experience leading operations for the Civil Group and serving as acting president of the Health Group, Porter has demonstrated a track record of driving Leidos’ business and generating growth, Krone said.

“As the health market continues to expand and evolve, we are fortunate to leverage her expertise going forward,” he added.

Before Leidos, Porter held several leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, during which she gained extensive experience with critical infrastructure system engineering and technology, business development and program management.

Porter also serves on several boards including the Industrial Advisory Board to the Engineering Department at Villanova University and the American Red Cross of the National Capital Region. She’s a member of the Healthcare Leadership Council.
