Federal market executive, entrepreneur and Navy veteran Rick Dansey will join T-Rex as vice president of growth and strategy. He will direct the company’s growth, strategic planning, research, competitive intelligence, marketing and proposals.

Most recently, Dansey served as chief growth officer for TeraThink and oversaw its expansion from small business to a midsized company. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of Ignitis, where he developed growth strategies for startups and Fortune 500 companies.

“Our company is built on our ability to grow and hire professionals like Rick, who care about the customer mission and know how to drive innovation,” CEO Seth Moore said. “Rick brings leadership and direct knowledge of what it takes to successfully operate and grow businesses in the full and open federal market.”

Dansey’s career began as a submarine officer following his graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor of science in mathematics. After his service there, he spent 16 years at CACI International.

“T-Rex is known for its culture of innovation, sterling reputation in the Federal customer space, and outstanding capabilities,” Dansey said. “I’m thrilled to be a part of the team and help bring our approach to IT modernization to more agencies as a partner to government IT leaders.”
