Science Applications International Corp., along with partner Capstone, has been awarded a contract to support the Fleet Deployment Training Program and facilitate the certification of U.S. Fleet Forces Command forces.

Capstone is to assist SAIC in executing pre-deployment and sustainment training within the framework of the fleet training capability, fleet readiness training program, optimized fleet readiness program, and joint training requirements.

“Capstone has a long history of providing operations and training support to the Navy,” said Thomas “Matt” Matthews, Capstone director of operations, Mission Support Services Division. “We are excited to partner with SAIC to deliver adaptive and responsive training to ensure our deployed forces are ready for current and future challenges.”

Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, Capstone provides integrated technical solutions and services to U.S. government agencies in training and exercises; strategy, plans and operations; and cybersecurity and IT solutions in over 30 U.S. states and several overseas locations.
