Management consulting services provider Guidehouse has tapped Britt Harter to oversee sustainability solutions and client engagements for the company’s Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure segment in North America.
In this role, Harter will serve as the sustainability solutions leader and help corporate and government clients work toward sustainability and decarbonization. He will also lead the North American team serving large corporate clients.
Harter previously served as a director in Guidehouse’s State and Local Government advisory group, where he focused on driving the company’s environmental, social and economic vibrancy.
In this role, Harter produced award-winning sustainability plans for Los Angeles and San Jose and created economic recovery plans for Puerto Rico and Detroit.
“I am thrilled to continue my journey with Guidehouse and look forward to becoming a trusted advisor to more of our clients as they adapt their strategies and operations for a better, sustainable future,” Harter said.
Before Guidehouse, Harter worked in PwC’s Sustainable Business Solutions practice, where he helped develop environmental sustainability strategies for large corporations.
Harter began his career as a research scientist and has won numerous research grants. His research has been published in several top academic journals.
Jan Vrins, leader of Guidhouse’s Energy, Sustainability and Infrustructure segment, praised Harter’s way of blending strategic thinking with pragmatism.
“We are excited for him to bring his unique experience to a broader set of clients throughout the North America region,” Vrins said.
