Alaska Native Owned professional services firm Koniag Government Services has elevated Aisha McGill to chief business operations officer to focus on the development of the company’s modernization roadmap for its businesses, processes and IT infrastructure.

“I’m honored and excited for the opportunity to grow in this new position,” McGill said. “KGS has many opportunities to expand our business solutions, and I’m looking forward to leading the modernization roadmap initiative.”

McGill joined KGS in 2018 as senior vice president of operations and played a critical role in driving the company’s growth and supporting a variety of business functions.

“This promotion recognizes the invaluable contribution’s Aisha has made to KGS during her tenure,” said Kevin Wideman, chief executive officer of KGS. “I’m excited to watch her excel in this new role while it lasts, as she is well on her way to becoming a CEO.”
