Parsons Corp. has appointed retired Air Force Gen. Darren W. McDew and former Raytheon executive David Wajsgras to its board of directors.

McDew’s service in the U.S military spans 36 years and culminated in his appointment as the commander of the U.S. Transportation Command. In this capacity, McDew served as the senior uniformed officer responsible for global air, land and sea transportation, and patient movement for the Defense Department. Since commissioned in 1982, McDew has completed many unique assignments to the White House, Pentagon and Capitol Hill.
Wajsgras has over 20 years of experience providing operational, strategic and financial leadership in the commercial and defense industries. He most recently served as president of the Intelligence, Information and Services business at the former Raytheon Co., now part of Raytheon Technologies.
Before that role, Wajsgras served as Raytheon’s senior vice president and chief financial officer and directed the company’s overall financial strategy.
Among numerous accomplishments, Wajsgras was named among WashingtonExec’s Top 25 Execs to Watch in 2020 and won WashingtonExec’s 2019 Pinnacle Award for Intelligence Industry Exec of the Year.
