Digitally-enabled solutions provider Parsons announced Rena Barta will be the new vice president of transportation infrastructure and lead the Mobility Solutions business development team in New York City.
Barta brings over 25 years of experience in developing strategic alliances with organization leaders and clients, said Anne Darnall, vice president and business development leader, infrastructure and mobility solutions for Parsons.
“Her high performing leadership and collaborative approach, along with her expertise in public sector municipal, state, transit, transportation and higher education markets, will help us deliver for our clients across markets, disciplines and delivery methods,” Darnall added.
Prior to joining Parsons, Barta served as the regional director of client services for a nationwide planning, design and construction firm, where she led business development for major projects in public sector transit, infrastructure and buildings.
Barta has a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Touro College in New York City. She is also active in several industry organizations, including Professional Women in Construction, the American Council of Engineering Companies and New York Building Congress.
