A technology vendor to the national security community, Buchanan & Edwards Inc. has announced the appointment of Bill Weber to its board of directors.
Brian Karlisch, co-founder and chairman of the board of directors for Buchanan & Edwards, called Weber “a fantastic addition to the team.”
“The timing couldn’t be better – Bill is an innovator and proven leader in the National Security space, and his leadership style and focus on transformation matches the fresh approach BE is bringing to ensure our customers are being supported across the broad scope of their agency missions,” Karlisch said.
Weber has over 30 years’ experience in key areas such as cyber operations and warfare, data analytics and geospatial intelligence solutions. He served most recently as president, CEO and board member of KeyW Corp., where he led the company through a transformation culminating in the sale of KeyW to Jacobs Engineering in the spring of 2019.
Weber previously served as president and chief operating officer with XLA, a technology firm that supports the federal government in areas of national security and diplomacy.
Additionally, Weber was among WashingtonExec’s 2017 25 Leaders in Government Contracting You Should Know About.
