Lynxnet, a subsidiary of government contractor Akima, has been awarded a $25.7 million contract to provide professional and operational support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

The Dahlgren Division provides research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of naval warfare systems, and fleet support to the Navy.

Under the contract, which has a 5-year period of performance, Lynxnet will focus on services like program and project management, process improvement, quality control, technical documentation, command evaluation, office of counsel, accounting, financial systems, human resources, IT-cybersecurity administration and property management functions.

“We are proud to build on our long-standing relationship supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Centers,” said Duncan Greene, president of Akima’s Mission Systems, Engineering & Technology Group. “This award further demonstrates the world-class capabilities offered by the Akima portfolio of companies.”
