The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce is holding a GovCon CEO Symposium on “Growing Through M&A/ Partnering with Private Equity” on May 7.
The live webinar will feature keynote speaker Paul Leslie, chairman of the board of Dovel Technologies. John Hillen, CEO and member of the board of directors of EverWatch, and Babs Doherty, senior vice president of Eagle Ray Technologies Group, Preferred Systems Solutions, will also speak on a panel.
Judy Bjornaas, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Mantech International, will moderate, and Josh Dearmon, managing director, defense and government services at CapitalOne, will be the interviewer.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The speakers are slated to discuss several issues around acquisitions, including how to leverage them as part of an organization’s larger growth strategy, how to fund one and when to walk away from a deal.
