Government consulting and technology firm Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. has again partnered with the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation to offer its third annual scholarship as part of the 2020 USGIF Scholarship Program.
The $10,000 RGi Scholarship for Geospatial and Engineering will be awarded to an undergraduate who demonstrates financial need and is committed to becoming competitive and constructive in the geospatial and engineering disciplines.
“RGi has a long history of supporting students, and we are thrilled to continue these efforts with USGIF through our annual RGi Scholarship,” said RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte. “Now more than ever, we need to continue to build a diverse base of students who are passionate about the future of GEOINT.”
Every year, USGIF awards scholarships of various amounts to exceptional students studying the geospatial sciences and related fields. USGIF has awarded more than $1.3 million in scholarships since the program began in 2004.
“USGIF and RGi have partnered to recognize and support those students with a geospatial and engineering background who are committed to becoming competitive in this market,” said USGIF Vice President of Academic Affairs Camelia Kantor.
