They replace Russell Beliveau and Paul Lederer, who concluded their board service as previously announced.

“Jan has strong financial and operation experience, as well as people management insight that will benefit the MAXIMUS Board,” said Peter Pond, chairman of the MAXIMUS board of directors. “John’s expertise and deep, historical understanding of MAXIMUS will serve the Board well during a time of board refreshment as we continue to execute on our strategic priorities to drive shareholder value.”

Madsen brings extensive financial expertise and leadership to the board. She currently serves as executive vice president for operations at Creighton University. From 2010 to 2014, she served as Creighton’s vice president for finance, managing the university’s budget. She previously served as chief financial officer and treasurer for West Corp.

Since January 2016, he has served as the CEO and director of Willis Towers Watson, an insurance broker and human resources and employee benefits consulting firm.
