VariQ has been appraised at Maturity Level 3 under the Capability Maturity Model Integration Institute’s new CMMI for Services Version 2.0, reflecting the company’s use of agile methods to enhance business performance.

CMMI appraisals are an industry standard for evaluating high-performing organizations, and its SVC V2.0 has evolved to focus on improving business performance, integrating agile resilience and scale and increasing the focus on value of appraisals.

“CMMI Version 2.0 provides an accurate assessment of organizations who have championed business performance improvement using Agile methods,” said John Dvorak, VariQ chief technology officer. “This appraisal reflects our continued commitment to provide high-quality solutions to the government agencies we serve.”

The Maryland-based cybersecurity, software development and cloud enablement government services provider was one of the first companies in the U.S. to complete an appraisal under CMMI for its Development Version 2.0 in 2019, also as Maturity Level 3. Now, VariQ holds both credentials.
