    Shawn Purvis is corporate vice president and president of Enterprise Services at Northrop Grumman. With approximately 85,000 employees in all 50 states and in more than 25 countries, the global security company has an inclusive work environment where employees are inspired every day to develop and maintain some of the most technically sophisticated products, programs and services in the world.

    As the leader of Enterprise Services, Purvis and her team provide the productivity tools and technologies employees need every day to perform their work. The organization focuses on digital transformation, advanced collaboration systems and business applications across Northrop Grumman. It provides all network, cybersecurity and enterprise application support for domestic and international employees and locations. From enabling the company’s massive technology infrastructure to protecting the network from cyber threats to transactional services such as accounts payable, timekeeping and travel and expense reporting, the organization provides numerous services to support the company.

    “With our customers facing an increasingly challenging threat environment, they need us to be agile in our support in every sense,” Purvis said. “We ensure that every Northrop Grumman employee has the tools and technologies they need to be able to execute on their programs in support of our customers.”

    Along with helping to drive company performance through innovative, value-add transactional services and technology solutions, Purvis’ team manages a robust portfolio of projects each year that support major programs and initiatives across the company.

    Purvis’ message for her internal team of technologists is to focus on the end user experience, innovation, operational efficiency and the digital transformation. As the team works on digital transformation, advanced collaboration systems and business applications across Northrop Grumman, it’s also clear teamwork serves as the bedrock of success.
