ASRC Federal has appointed George Morrow the vice president of space strategy to provide strategic leadership to deepen customer relationships across government agencies and grow the company’s space-related capabilities to adjacent markets.

“We are delighted to welcome George Morrow to our team,” said Charlie Bengston, ASRC Federal engineering, aerospace and mission systems operating group president. “George is an industry leader who drives strategic, mission-focused space and technology solutions – strengths that will deliver significant value to our government customers and industry partners.”

Morrow most recently served as the acting center director for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. In his 37-year career in the space industry, Morrow has served as NASA Goddard deputy center director and as director and deputy director of the Flight Projects Directorate at Goddard.

Morrow was the recipient of the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive in 2007 and 2014. He was awarded the NASA Exceptional Service Medal in 1994, the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal in 2006 and the NASA Distinguished Service Medal in 2019.
