Cerner Corp. has announced the appointment of Don Trigg as president and John Peterzalek as chief client and services officer.
Trigg, who’s been with Cerner since 2002, will be tasked with clinical EHR, revenue cycle management and strategic growth businesses. He will lead the long-term vision of Cerner’s product portfolio, key product lines and performance and profitability.
Trigg’s duties will also encompass driving the strategy and programmatic efforts involved with Cerner’s platform modernization and the company’s development of the cognitive platform for health care.
Peterzalek, who joined Cerner in 2003, will will be charged with Cerner’s services, consulting, support and hosting. He will also continue to oversee worldwide client relationship management and sales.
Congratulating Trigg and Peterzalek, Cerner Chairman and CEO Brent Shafer said these appointments, along with other improvements being made to Cerner’s leadership structure, aim “to create better alignment and accountability.”
They will also “build on the progress we’ve made since launching Cerner’s new operating model in 2019 to align more closely with our clients’ strategic objectives and position Cerner for long-term growth,” he added.
