Get ready to open your heart — and your wallet: The Greater Washington Region Heart Ball to raise funds for the American Heart Association is just a month away.
The event, held Feb. 22 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C., begins 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception. Dinner, dancing, fundraising and a live auction will follow. The event ends 1 a.m.
The Heart Ball is a major annual fundraiser for the American Heart Association, which works toward changing health outcomes related to heart disease and stroke. This year’s Heart Ball co-chairs are Mac and Cindy Curtis.
