Andrew Matuch has been appointed managing director of government, intellectual property and life sciences at LexisNexis Legal & Professional. He will lead Reed Tech, a LexisNexis company.

In his most recent role as chief strategy officer at LexisNexis parent company RELX, Matuch developed an overall strategic plan and worked with business areas across RELX to refine their strategies and operating plans. He led centers of excellence in pricing, customer analytics, lean product development and innovation.

Mike Walsh, CEO of LexisNexis Legal & Professional, described Matuch as “a proven leader with a successful track record across RELX.”

“I’m excited to rejoin the LexisNexis Legal & Professional division of RELX, with a focus on our Government, IP and Life Sciences businesses,” Matuch said. “There’s significant opportunity to apply advanced technologies to our deep and unique content sets to help customers work in faster and more effective ways. I look forward to building on the strong LexisNexis foundation in this area to introduce new and innovative solutions that will continue to delight our customers.”
