Salient CRGT has won a $482 million contract in support of the Pentagon for information networks cyber and engineering services.

This 5-year, single award SANDBAR contract was awarded as a competitive order under the General Services Administration Alliant 2 Vehicle. SANDBAR will support a full range of DOD clients across the globe.

“Our approach provides DoD with increased efficiency and effectiveness in how cyber, engineering, development, and IT services are delivered to their end users,” said Tom Ferrando, Salient CRGT CEO. “We are a quick, responsive partner to our critical DoD customers, providing flexible partnership and options to support mission needs in times of conflict and peace.”

As the prime contractor on SANDBAR, Salient CRGT will provide direct support to DOD for the full range of telecommunications technical and engineering services, including integration, upgrade and system modernization of warfighter networks.

The contract calls for work on the design, development, deployment, sustainment, and lifecycle management of specialized IT, with professional services to be delivered by Salient CRGT and selected industry partners.

Initial efforts under SANDBAR will focus on operations and maintenance, integration, upgrades, and system modernization of warfighter networks. The company will also address aspects of airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and cyber operations.

The Salient CRGT team reports it is already working to leverage the SANDBAR vehicle in order to expand professional services offerings across DoD organizations.
