    GovCon Industry’s ‘Oscars’ Name Mac Curtis Exec of the Year in $300+M Category

    The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council on Nov. 6 presented the winners for the annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards, honoring exceptional work of leaders and businesses in the region’s government contracting sector.

    Dubbed the Academy Awards of Government Contracting, the program categories cover Contractor of the Year in four revenue categories and Executive of the Year in three revenue categories. The Program of the Year represents the most successful contracted program chosen from among the finalists of all four Contractor of the Year categories.

    A panel of industry and government professionals pick finalists and winners from a large pool of nominees. Below are the winners and the categories: 

    CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR

    ​Contractor of the Year (up to $25 million):

    • Datastrong

    Contractor of the Year ($25 million to $75 million):

    • Ridgeline International

    Contractor of the Year ($75 million to $300 million):

    • DCS Corp.

    Contractor of the Year (greater than $300 million):

    • SOS International

    EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR 

    Executive of the Year (up to $75 million):

    • Robin Portman of Atlas Research

    Executive of the Year ($75 million to $300 million):

    • William Vantine of Systems Planning & Analysis Inc.

    Executive of the Year (greater than $300 million):

    • Mac Curtis of Perspecta
