The Women’s Center is hosting its annual “It Starts With Us” gala later next month.

The event, which is expected to draw more than 400 guests, will be Oct. 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Virginia.

The event features a silent auction and wine tasting followed by a three-course dinner, dessert and a live auction. The gala supports The Women’s Center, which provides affordable mental health care, domestic violence advocacy, and career and financial education services.

DC Fusion will take the stage to perform for dancers.

Toni Townes-Whitley, president of U.S. regulated industries at Microsoft, will chair the event while Catherine Nelson, president and CEO of CA Nelson Consulting, LLC, will co-chair.

    Tickets are $300 each.
