Riverside Research has announced its election of Neil McCasland, currently the director of technology at Applied Technology Associates, to its board of trustees.
John Giering, chairman of the board of trustees, expressed his gratitude on having McCasland join the board.
“His experience as commander of [Air Force Research Laboratory] and expertise in emerging technology and intelligence programs are great assets to Riverside Research’s technology roadmap, research and development initiatives, and overall strategic growth,” Giering said of McCasland.
McCasland retired from the Air Force as major general after a 34-year career concluding at the Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force base. There, he led the science and technology program with a global workforce of over 10,000 people and worth $4 billion.
McCasland began his duties July 2019.
