SOS International LLC has won a spot on a 10-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the State Department. The deal has a combined $6.5 billion ceiling.
The Diplomatic Platform Support Services contract was created to provide logistics operations, life support services, and operation and maintenance services on a global scale.
The contract focuses on contingency environments, but was established to provide support internationally as needed. The types of services to be provided include: program management, procurement, logistics, construction and renovation, food service and dining facility management, facilities maintenance/repair, property leasing, travel services, medical services and insurance.
“We’re thrilled to have been awarded this opportunity,” said Julian Setian, SOSi president and CEO. “Over the past decade, SOSi has been an emerging player in the U.S. Government’s international logistics market, and we’re proud to support our diplomatic missions wherever they go.”
