Chuck Harrington, Parsons

Parsons Corp. has agreed to acquire QRC Technologies from equity firm DC Capital Partners in a deal worth $215 million.

This acquisition is Parsons’ first as a public company and third in the last 14 months. The company is looking to use its artificial intelligence and data analytics to differentiate QRC’s product portfolio and facilitate actionable intelligence for customers.

QRC specializes in radio frequency spectrum survey, record and playback; signals intelligence; and electronic warfare missions.

The transaction complements Parsons’ existing portfolio, bolsters its presence in the markets of spectrum awareness and surveillance, and adds intellectual property that expands its capabilities for the U.S. Special Operations Command and intelligence communities, said Chuck Harrington, Parsons chairman and CEO.
