The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts has awarded Salient CRGT a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide enterprise data governance and management support.
Under the contract, Salient will also implement the security needed to create a consolidated and integrated enterprise data warehouse, and to improve data quality, understanding and visualization.
Data is crucial to the type of work the Administrative Office provides and supports. This work includes a range of administrative, legal, financial, management, program and IT services to federal courts, as it supports 30,000 court employees in more than 600 locations.
The Judiciary Data and Analysis Office oversees initiatives supporting the Director’s Data Strategy and Governance Plan, which includes enterprise data management, data quality, data governance and access to federal statistical caseload data.
Salient said it can provide the expertise in data warehousing and an understanding of the Judiciary Data and Analysis Office’s environment and of the Administrative Office’s data sets, program areas and architectures — thanks to three years’ prior enterprise data warehouse support for the office.
“We have supported AOUSC since 2004, helping to evolve their EDW environment since 2008 and we are excited to continue our support,” said Tom Ferrando, Salient CRGT CEO.
Salient is helping the Judiciary Data and Analysis Office develop its next enterprise data warehouse 2.0, migrate programs into an integrated enterprise data warehouse and sustain the business intelligence services that are generating more than 1,000 reports from 50 data repositories for nationwide judicial operations, according to Ferrando. Plus, Salient is also leveraging its Data Analytics Innovation Center to help the office innovate.
