NTT DATA Serivces‘ public sector subsidiary has won a 5-year contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development worth $218 million to provide day-to-day operational support.

Under the contract and direction of USAID Bureau of Management Office of the Chief Information Officer, NTT DATA will provide daily operational and maintenance support, leveraging its technology innovations to help make agency infrastructure and operations more efficient.

NTT DATA has more than 50 years of government expertise to provide to USAID as the agency works to equally distribute humanitarian assistance to more than 70 countries recovering from or experiencing disasters, poverty and democratic reform.

“Our global presence and deep government experience provides an excellent foundation to drive USAID’s day-to-day operations and maintenance and enhance performance,” said Kevin Durkin, president of NTT DATA Federal Services. “We are looking forward to partnering with USAID in support of their mission for the betterment of people throughout the world.”
