Atlas Research last month named Meg Kabat a senior director, a role in which she will be tasked with developing solutions for the company’s federal clients.

“Meg brings a strong passion for, and experience in, supporting our nation’s Veterans, military personnel, and their families,”said Atlas Research President and CEO Robin Portman, president and CEO “We are looking forward to seeing her use this passion and experience to provide valuable insights that will guide our clients in providing the best care possible.”

Kabat, who will be working federal customers such as the Defense Health Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs, is a former national director of the Caregiver Support Program at VA. In that role, she provided national oversight and implementation of Title 1 of the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act. She was responsible for developing and implementing critical national policy.

Before that, Kabat served as an advocate for severely ill and injured service members enrolled in the Federal Recovery Care Coordination Program at the National Naval Medical Center. She also is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience.
