Huntington Ingalls Industries has appointed Jaime O’Keefe Orlando as senior director of communications for its Technical Solutions division to help execute marketing, communication and engagement strategies.

Orlando has held similar leadership communications positions in the past. Most recently, she was senior director of strategic communications for Peraton, which was previously Harris Corp.’s Government IT Services business.

She also spent time as senior manager of Harris’ IT Services business and as director of marketing and communications of its Critical Networks division, and held communication and marketing positions for ManTech International, GAP Solutions under a State Department contract, and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide.

In her new role, Orlando will work with the Technical Solutions division’s leadership team to design, develop and implement marketing, communication and engagement strategies.

“Jaime’s wealth of experience in strategic communications, brand management and employee communications will be invaluable to our team as we continue to chart our course in the government services sector, focused on providing our customers solutions to their most pressing challenges,” said Technical Solutions President Andy Green.

Orlando will report to Green, and will also work closely with Jerri Dickseski, the company’s executive vice president of communications.
