    Cullen Glass, HII

Huntington Ingalls Industries has named Jaime O’Keefe Orlando as senior director of communications and Cullen Glass as corporate director of enterprise transformation.

HII is the nation’s largest military shipbuilding company and also provides professional services to partners in government and industry.

Glass has 18 years’ experience at Honeywell, where he held leadership roles in planning, manufacturing, IT, logistics, order management and supply chain. He was most recently director of enterprise IT manufacturing and quality, responsible for deploying applications and processes across all Honeywell business groups.

Glass has a bachelor’s degree in management from the College of St. Scholastica and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

In his new role, Glass will work with other leaders to implement improvements in core business processes, including supply chain, information technology/analytics and manufacturing.

“Cullen has been a change agent throughout his career and brings world class commercial experience and a diverse perspective to this role,” said Scott Stabler, executive vice president and chief transformation officer. “His time at Honeywell produced an impressive resume of implementing the processes, technologies and approaches key to the future of HII. I look forward to his counsel and leadership in making effective change happen here as well.”

Glass’ previous accomplishments including leading the successful implementation of SAP across the $15 billion automation and control business segment and international supply chain process re-engineering. The effort led to improved delivery performance and reduced inventory levels.

    Jaime Orlando, HII

Orlando will work from HII’s Fair Lakes office in Fairfax, Virginia, and report to Technical Solutions President Andy Green. In her new role, she will work on a variety of strategic initiatives, including the design, development and executive of marketing, communication and engagement strategies that support the technical solutions division as well as with HII’s executive vice president of communications.

“Jaime’s wealth of experience in strategic communications, brand management and employee communications will be invaluable to our team as we continue to chart our course in the government services sector, focused on providing our customers solutions to their most pressing challenges,” Green said. “I am very pleased that Jaime is bringing her many talents to HII, and I know she will be a tremendous asset to our team.”

Before joining HII, Orlando was the senior director of strategic communications for Peraton, formerly Harris Corp.’s Government IT Services business. Orlando joined Harris in 2012 and served as senior manager of the IT services business and later as director of marketing and communications of its critical networks segment. She has also worked for ManTech International, GAP Solutions under contract to the State Department, and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide in a variety of communication and marketing roles.

Orlando holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and consumer studies from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in marketing from John Hopkins University.
