Dovel Technologies has been awarded a spot on the Health and Human Services Program Support Center’s Intelligent Automation Artificial Intelligence indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.
The multiple award contract has a total value of $49 million and a 5-year base period. Under this contract vehicle, Dovel will help the department quickly obtain and apply machine learning and AI technologies, solutions and services in order to automate tasks, shift from low- to high-value work, reduce backlogs and cut costs.
“Dovel has worked closely with HHS to implement advanced technologies such as machine learning and blockchain to improve federal grants management, and we are excited to introduce additional solutions that can be applied to solving today’s biggest challenges,” said Damon Griggs, Dovel president and chief operating officer.
HHS hopes the contract vehicle will enable the development of capabilities to predict fraudulent transactions and identify critical suspects with technologies like facial recognition, supervised learning and machine vision.
