As part of its transformation initiative to expand into new markets and enhance how government services are delivered, SE Solutions has tapped Matt Warren and John Harllee as co-chief operating officers, and Kate Abrey as executive vice president and general manager for the emerging markets sector.

The additions come after SE Solutions president and COO of seven years, John Wayne, announced his decision to spend more time with family and personal passions, after a 40-year career in the federal marketplace. Wayne will continue to support the new team through the business transition.

Warren has more than 24 years of experience in federal government technology sales, mostly with the Homeland Security, State, Energy, Justice, Commerce and Education departments. He has also successfully built and led large sales delivery organizations and managed client relationships to take small organizations through an aggressive growth model. At SE Solutions, Warren will use his knowledge and expertise to build and oversee its emerging markets sector.

His co-COO Harllee has also spent more than 24 years as an operational leader in the federal government sector, and will oversee new and existing accounts. He will also focus on providing the leadership and management needed for the back-office organization — like operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems — in order to grow the company and strengthen finances and operations.

In her new position, Abrey will oversee development of new emerging market opportunities and delivery of solutions to new customers through leadership and guidance of the sector’s personnel as services and capabilities evolve. She’ll also oversee development of new and in-demand solutions for customers, and will leverage her 15-year career of strategic account and program management leadership in the federal technology market.

According to SE Solutions Executive Chairman Mark Scheffel, the company has aligned its organization for faster growth and ability to change with industry needs, and the additions of its leadership team are part of the plan.

“Each of these individuals brings deep knowledge and experience leading and inspiring organizations to drive growth and achieve results for their employees and clients,” Scheffel said. “Their track record of success in our industry speaks for itself – but for SE Solutions, their leadership will help enable the company to be a springboard to set the pace in the government services industry and beyond.”
