Perspecta President and CEO Mac Curtis accepts the Technology Good Scout Award.

The Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council has honored Perspecta President and CEO Mac Curtis with the Technology Good Scout Award, recognizing him as an outstanding leader in the technology industry.

The award is given to area tech leaders who exemplify the values of the Scout Oath and Law in daily life — and as a tech and engineering industry leader for 30 years and philanthropist, Curtis is seen as an inspiration in the field and model recipient for the award.

“I am honored to join the long list of Technology Good Scouts that came before me,” Curtis said. “Thank you to the Boy Scouts of America for this award and for all that you do in building the exceptional leaders of tomorrow.”

The organization presented Curtis with the award at its May 8 Annual Technology Good Scout Award Luncheon, which also benefits the character-building programs of the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council.
