LMI to Provide Agencies with AI Solutions in New HHS Contract Win

LMI has been awarded the Intelligent Automation/Artificial Intelligence Solutions contract through the Health and Human Services Department’s Program Support Center to provide AI services and products to the federal government.

The 5-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of $49 million, and is available to all federal agencies. Through the IAAI contract, agencies will have access to AI technologies and support services like testing, evaluation, deployment, training and sustainment of implemented solutions.

According to Brant Horio, director of LMI’s data science sub-service line, LMI will be collaborating with its government clients throughout the AI development cycle.

“We will leverage our best practices to rapidly and iteratively develop robust AI and machine learning solutions across all phases, including ideation, prototyping, validation, and continuous deployment and integration,” Horio said.

LMI already offers innovative technology solutions to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and to its Food and Drug Administration clients, so being awarded the IAAI contract expands the company further into HHS.

“The combination of our healthcare policy knowledge with our ability to transform how the government works with cutting-edge IAAI tools offers HHS and other government agencies a packaged solution to improve healthcare, strengthen cybersecurity, reinforce infrastructure, and reduce costs,” said Whitney Owen, director of LMI’s HHS market.
