Hewlett Packard Enterprise has named Affigent, an Akima company, as Federal Small Business Partner of the Year, recognizing the company for its excellence in providing HPE solutions to federal customers.

The IT solutions provider worked with HPE to become the first federal channel partner offering government customers the HPE GreenLake IT solution — a consumption-based model for hardware, software and expertise for on-premises or cloud solutions.

“This award demonstrates the commitment that Affigent places on providing excellent support for our business partners and customers,” said Carol Rivetti, president of Affigent. “We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with HPE to offer cloud and managed services to federal government customers.”

HPE honored Affigent at its annual partner summit earlier this year, recgonizing the company for its ability to find customers the right mix of public and private cloud.

“Together, HPE and Affigent had a banner year with significant growth across all business segments, especially HPE Pointnext where together we delivered a GreenLake private cloud solution to the U.S. Army. We look forward to continuing forward-looking success for many years to come,” said HPE’s Brian Falvey, director of Pointnext services for U.S. public sector and Canada.
