Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, LLC has been recognized as a Virginia Values Veterans-certified company, a program that started in 2012 dedicated to improving the employment of veterans.

The V3 program trains and certifies companies so they can implement best practices in recruiting, hiring and retaining veterans. So far, 25,000 veterans have been hired through the program.

“We are proud to be part of this very worthwhile program,” said Claudio Monticelli, ACT I chief operating officer. “ACT I looks forward to increasing its employment of veterans and working with the Virginia Value Veterans (V3) Program.”

Ultimately, certified companies have demonstrated a public commitment to valuing and hiring veterans into their workforce, and the certification process includes a V3 core curriculum and training. After training and certification request, approval is granted by the Virginia governor’s office and Virginia Department of Veterans Services Commissioner. Certification is active for five years.
