Former Booz Allen Hamilton account head Jim MacMillan has joined Savan Group as portfolio director to lead several agency-level accounts as a part of the leadership team.

MacMillan brings 20 years of experience in IT and management consulting experience in government and industry, the company said. He will oversee day-to-day client delivery activities and ensure clients receive the highest level of service.

“Jim is a passionate leader and an effective communicator with proven expertise in forging relationships, leading teams, and serving clients,” said Savan Group President and CEO Veeral Majmudar. “He has come at a critical time as our firm further develops its structure and is helping us continue to deliver dynamic, personalized service to our expanding client base.”

“I’m honored to be supporting our clients and client teams and growing our capabilities in this capacity,” MacMillan said. “This firm is energized, growing, and I’m seeing how my perspective and experience on strategic organizational growth and business development is being shaped here.”

MacMillan spent over 16 years at Booz Allen, most recently as account lead for the Finance, Energy and Economic Development practice area.
