MITRE Corp. has made several changes to its leadership team, including one promotion and two new appointments.
Effective March 4, Usha Chaudhary joins MITRE as senior vice president for corporate operations and chief transformation officer, and Laurie Giandomenico joins as vice president and chief acceleration officer. Kathleen Federico has been elevated to senior vice president and chief human resources and strategic communications officer.

Federico joined in June 2018 and has launched roadmap for empowering MITRE’s workforce. She previously also served as chief human resources officer at Civitas Solutions and as senior vice president of sales and human resources for World Travel Holdings.
Chaudhary most recently served as the president and chief operating officer of Kettler. She has served in executive roles at The Pew Charitable Trusts, The Washington Post, United Way of America and Freddie Mac.
Giandomenico began her career at MITRE in 1991 as a member of the technical staff, and most recently led her own consulting firm. She has held multiple executive-level roles in enterprise software firms.
