Not-for-profit membership organization Homeland Security & Defense Business Council has three newly added members on its board of directors. Brandon LaBonte, president and CEO of ArdentMC; Martin Mackes, chief delivery officer at E3 Federal Solutions; and Trey Theimer, vice president and account general manager, homeland security at Perspecta, will serve 3-year terms.

The trio will help guide the overarching vision and direction of the council and its programs and efforts, HSDBC said. The join a group of directors representing the council’s membership of companies that provide technology and solutions to the homeland security enterprise.

“I am honored to be joining the Board of HSDBC, an organization whose mission is to bring the private sector together to advance innovative solutions for the Homeland Security Enterprise and help strengthen the bond between government and industry,” LaBonte said.

“Ever since the tragic events of 9/11, it’s been a passion of mine to support the mission of the Department of Homeland Security in any way possible,” Mackes said. “I’m humbled and honored to be selected to serve on the board of HSDBC and look forward to continuing to advance the mission of the Council in support of the Homeland Security Enterprise.”

“By facilitating the vital exchange of ideas and perspectives between senior executives in industry and government, HSDBC has been able to advance the interests of companies of all sizes and capabilities that are actively working to support the homeland security mission,” Theimer said. “I look forward to helping contribute to the continued growth and accomplishments of the organization.”
