A joint venture between Electrosoft and Zantech — known as EZTeq, LLC — has been awarded a spot on the massive U.S.  Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 3 Services contract.

The potential 9-year ITES-3S indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is valued at $12.1 billion. The contract includes five base years and four individual option years.

The massive firmed-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract is expected to serve as the primary source of IT-related services for the U.S. Army worldwide.

Specific task orders under the contract include cybersecurity, integration, operation and maintenance, business process engineering, and education and training, among other enterprise IT functions.

“Winning a position on this contract represents a major milestone for EZteq and the joint venture partners Electrosoft and Zantech,” said Dr. Sarbari Gupta, Electrosoft president and CEO. “I believe the combined experience and expertise of our firms, coupled with our reputations for integrity, business excellence and customer service across government, were key factors in our selection. We are excited about the business opportunities this position affords us and look forward to supporting the U.S. Army, other Department of Defense agencies and other included federal agencies.”

In total, the U.S. Army made 135 awards for ITES-3s.
