Former Raytheon executive and Air Force veteran Tim Freeman has been appointed Leidos Defense Group‘s senior vice president of business development and strategy.
In his new role, Freeman will lead the strategic development, new business capture and financial strategies for Leidos’ largest business.
Freeman has over 33 years of military service and business development experience.
Before joining Leidos, he spent five years at Raytheon, most recently as director of business development for mission support and modernization. His other roles there included director of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Mission Solutions; director of command, control and awareness; and business development ISR portfolio lead.
Additionally, Freeman served for 27 years in the U.S. Air Force in various engineering, program management and senior acquisition roles.
