Federal managed services provider 1901 Group has earned a key quality management certification, the company announced.

The company said it was successfully appraised and certified against the ISO 9001:2015 standard — the latest version of the international standard that specifies requirements for a companywide quality-management system.

The certification requires organizations to understand and address risks, while also ensuring their processes consistently meet customers’ requirements.

“This level of achievement is essential and demonstrates the positive impact on quality management, project performance, and transparency,” said Sonu Singh, CEO of 1901 Group. “This is the third year in a row that 1901 Group has achieved the ISO certification and represents the first year that we applied the 2015 standard. Not only do we have and use a QMS, but 1901Group has taken the additional step of integrating it into all facets of our Enterprise IT Operations Center and supporting the rigorous audit process that comes with an ISO 9001 certification. This is an important milestone for us and one that reflects our commitment to delivering quality services to our customers that align to global standards.”
